Peace Tree

Peace Tree is my latest release, and is actually another remastered track from the very first record I wrote and recorded in 2008. It has special significance in my songwriting history, and was the last track I would write, record, and add to this project before bringing it to completion.

This story is inspired and drawn from a very real spiritual encounter, an experience I had with Jesus, that is presented in a revelatory kind of way. It was this experience the song tells of that compelled me to step away from music as a career and take a different path; entering a long season of devotion and growth - I would not enter the studio to record music again for nearly 7 more years.

This is the original mix and recording from 2008 with some beautiful cello lines that Matt Patrick and I added to the track before having it remastered for digital release. Thanks for listening.
