VIDEO - LIBRARY SESSION
My latest project is coming along very nicely, and I’m thrilled to be able to share another session from the Library Recording Studio. I have been able to flourish in this environment, and have the freedom to move from instrument to instrument very smoothly.
”It’s All Falling” was written in July of 2020 in one sitting as I recall. The lyrics are a darker shade, yet they pair oddly well with the light mood and overall hopeful personality of the song.
Will Keeler from Whiskeykilo Films did an amazing job shooting this session as it was being recorded, and put together a very unique perspective for this video that I’m happy to share.
It’s All Falling (alternate Version)
UPDATE: 2/5/2022
At some point during the recording process of this record I started messing around in a different tuning, and ended up writing an alternate version of “It’s All Falling.” This alternate take has a completely different personality and feel rhythmically, and really contrasts to the final version on the record (which I’ll insert below).
This finger-picked version never made it to production, but I wanted to capture it still somehow, so I set up at home and did a live take. It’s an interesting twist on this already provocative song.
